Why Sandestin?
Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort spans 2,400 acres across Florida’s Emerald Coast — one of the longest stretches of protected coastline in the Southeast. It’s not a hotel. It’s an entire destination: its own beach, its own village, its own marina, its own golf courses, all contained in a gated community that most people don’t even know exists until they arrive and realize they never have to leave.
Sandestin sits on the Gulf of Mexico with its own stretch of sugar-white sand — the same quartz-crystal beaches that make the Emerald Coast one of the most photographed coastlines in the country. The water here is genuinely turquoise. Staying inside the resort means you walk to the beach, not drive to it.
Burnt Pine, The Raven, Baytowne, and The Links — each course has its own character and each one is within the resort gates. The Raven was ranked among the best courses in Florida. Fall and winter temps make it even better. This isn’t resort golf bolted onto a hotel — golf is half of what Sandestin is.
A bayfront promenade lined with restaurants, bars, shops, and a live events lawn. NYE fireworks, ice skating in winter, concerts and markets in summer — it runs a packed calendar all year. You don’t need a car to get there from our units. You walk.
“The Emerald Coast gets its name from the water. You have to see it to believe it — no filter required.”Miramar Beach, Florida · Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort

How Direct Booking Works
FAQ
Everything you need to know before booking. Still have a question? Hit the Contact Owner button below.
How far are the units from the beach?
The units are located within the Sandestin resort gates. The private beach is accessible via the resort tram which runs daily, or a short walk or bike ride through the resort grounds. You are never more than a few minutes from the sand.
What's the difference between the Studio, 1 Bedroom, and booking both together?
The Studio sleeps up to 4 guests and the 1 Bedroom sleeps up to 4 guests — each as a fully independent unit with its own entrance and amenities. Booking both together gives you a connected two-bedroom suite sleeping up to 8, perfect for families or groups who want private spaces without being in separate buildings.
Is parking available at the resort?
Yes — Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort has parking available for guests. The resort also operates a free tram service that runs daily so you rarely need to move your car once you've arrived.
Do the units include full kitchen access?
The 1 Bedroom unit includes a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and granite island with bar seating — ideal for cooking in. The Studio includes a kitchenette for lighter meal prep. Both have everything you need for a comfortable self-catered stay.
Are pets allowed?
Pet policies vary by booking platform and are set by Sandestin's management team. We recommend checking the specific listing on Airbnb or VRBO for the most current pet policy before booking.
What amenities are included with the stay?
All guests receive full access to Sandestin's resort amenities including the private beach, 19 pools, bike trail system, resort tram, tennis courts, fitness center, and the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Golf is available at additional cost through the resort's booking system. See sandestin.com/things-to-do for the full list.
How do I get around the resort?
Sandestin operates a free tram service with multiple color-coded routes covering the entire 2,400-acre resort. You can also walk, bike (rentals available on property), or golf cart. Most guests find they rarely need to use their car during their stay.
What is there to do in the off-season (September–February)?
All resort amenities remain open year-round. The off-season brings some of the best golf conditions in Florida, holiday events at Baytowne Wharf including ice skating and NYE fireworks, live music, and significantly fewer crowds. Many guests consider it the best time to visit.
Where do I book and what's the best rate?
The best rate is always available by booking directly with Jake — no platform service fees and flexible terms. Alternatively you can book through Sandestin.com for the best published platform rate.
